”You guys know what you’re doing, you’re doing this all the time, right? Is this really your job?”, Rob Enbom asks given the carousal. Much beer, many cigarettes and some whiskey are the basic ingredients for this late-afternoon kitchen party. The California guys get hold of this spirit and lalala it out in an animated performance. Bleary-eyed and more or less worn out from some intensive touring, Eat Skull still manage to do some rousing renditions of “Dawn In The Face”, “Oregon Dreamin” and “Cooking A Way To Be Happy”. Especially the last one – performed in this setting with the help of an egg whip, a cutlery, a pot and a mug – is really fun to watch. This could be the anthem for bored housewives that set to throw their kitchen duties overboard!
