Protestant Work Ethic

Living Room, Jörgerstraße, 2011

Our second series after Popfest Sessions documenting the local music scene: the Open House Sessions! Vienna-based bands invite some friends over and play a stripped down show in an intimate setting. The series allows us to get a glimpse behind the curtains of artist apartments or other places the musicians have a personal connection to and capture the inspiring mood of such mini-concerts, where there is literally no barrier between the bands and the audience. The indie-folk band Protestant Work Ethic starts off energetically (“Racing In The Rapids”) and fills the living room with beautiful sound that will make you crave for a visit to the US midwest.
